Workouts of the Week – May

Following up from the monthly May goals I have and talked about last week here, a big one for me to tackle this month is a consistent schedule and workout routine.

Given I’m having some annoying complications, I’m trying to rebuild core strength and overall muscle endurance.  Here’s a snapshot of the days I worked out this past week and what’s coming up next.

  • Monday – Combo
  • Tuesday – Arms
  • Wednesday – Rest
  • Thursday – Legs / cardio, Full body Plyometrics
  • Friday – Swim / Full body active recovery
  • Saturday – Rest

Overall this week I successfully completed the workouts posted above and am ready to start this upcoming week tomorrow (Sunday!). I’ll be continuing with my theme of cardio + light weights and body plyometrics for strength. Since I’ll be traveling for work this week and staying in a hotel, I planned a few workout ideas to keep me on track. Here’s a preview of what I’m thinking:

  • Sunday – Cardio/Stairs + Swim cardio/active recovery
  • Monday – A.M. Hotel full-body workout
  • Tuesday – TWO A DAY
    • A.M. Cycle w/ Nikki at Toledo?!
    • P.M. Coworker FitClub
  • Wednesday – Rest
  • Thursday – Cycle / Abs
  • Friday – Swim + active recovery
